Restaurant Resolutions

NO ICE IN MY WATER PLEASE.

Avoid adding ice to your water at the table. Contrary to the "weightloss tip" that your body burns more calories trying to cool down the ice cold water, room temperature digests gorgeously in your body and aids stressless digestive love.


NO THANK YOU ☺

If the breadbasket is on the table, you're going to mow down that warm, cushy, white tummy ache. Ask the smiling waiter to take it away after you take one piece or ask them to not deliver the basket at all.


MEAL PREPARATION MADE EASY.

First joyous happening of this resolution is that you are not ordering unwholly foods "just because you are out for dinner". You are ordering off the menu to fuel your body with delicious nutrients that you are treating yourself to by someone else cooking.
Secondly, portion sizes at the restaurant make it super simple to ask for a takeout box WITH your meal and make the next day's lunch or dinner easy! You double your money and it gives you a break from one meal prep for a day.


BE GRACIOUS FOR ONE OR THE OTHER.

If you would like an appetizer you will not be needing the dessert menu.  If you have more than one glass of wine, you are having a nutritiously rich entrée and zero appetizer & zero dessert.  If you choose zero appetizer and were dying to have dessert, ask that everyone receives a utensil ... The best part of dessert is the first bite, really.


I VOW TO RELAX THE MINUTE I SIT DOWN.

The more relaxed you are, the longer you will take to eat your delicious meal. The longer it takes for you to eat your meal, the better you digest your eats and absorb the nutrients. The more nutrients your smart, efficient body absorbs, the more full and satisfied your cells are; therefore, the less you will over-eat.


MMMMM THAT SALAD SOUNDS AMAZING!

Enjoy someone else cutting up the vegetables! Keeping a simple resolution of "Every time I go out to eat I will always order a salad" is a wholly habit you are welcome to blame me for ☺ It is a great treat to try different salad dressings, and the most perf way to avoid poor "oh we are out to eat; let's be gluttonous". Every restaurant has salad options, and gratefully, at least 5 salads to choose from. Then you can top that salad with grilled animal protein, fish or MAYBE just MAAAAYBE depending on the restaurant, they may have beans or legumes in their sumptuous salads.


PLAN IN ADVANCE.

Spontaneity = passion. Save it for your lover!!!
If you don't have a gourmet meal prepared at home, omelet for dinner it is! It is less expensive, time saving and nutritiously brilliant to crush eggs and goat's cheese on a bed of greens than it is to choose a random restaurant, order in a rush, eat mindlessly, and spend unplanned cash-money on an unwholly dish.
